Please note that we do not buy vehicles and we advise you to be very suspicious of  any companies or individuals who make promises to pay cash for your vehicle! If your vehicle is sold for a cash price then technically you do not have any say in its destiny.

This could also mean that they possibly won’t scrap it at all. It may well end up back on the road without either informing the DVLA of a change of ownership or worse still becoming a death trap when sold on to someone else for a profit. Always request a licence number and check it with the environment agency. A major problem is illegal tipping of waste tyres.

WHAT DO WE REQUIRE?

All we require is the logbook (ownership details) of which you keep section 9 (we will fill in this part for you) and the key. We will give you an intent of Destruction Certificate and advise you to send section 9 off to the DVLA. After the car is scrapped the remainder of the logbook is sent off to DVLA and they will notify you in 4-6 weeks that it has been disposed of. If you do not have the logbook or key it's not a problem, please mention that on the form or when you call us and we will tell you the procedure to scrap your vehicle.
